Words, Words, Words: Voice, body and text in performance
- Date: September 6, 2025
- Venue: Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, London NW3 3HY
This event is preceded by the BVA AGM (Streamed 9.30-10.15)
This President’s study day explores the question: How do we make language feel spontaneous, balance technique and emotional truth, and fully embody words in a way that is both authentic and compelling?
Practical workshops from expert voice practitioners provide hands-on techniques to guide performers in connecting voice, body, and intention: whether classical verse, contemporary dialogue or West End tunes.
Designed for professionals working with spoken or sung voice: voice coaches, singing coaches, speech and language therapists, and communication specialists seeking deeper engagement with text.
