Anyone with a smartphone has access to any type of music – from Acid Jazz to Zydeco. This has changed our singing and teaching landscape significantly. Most of us can no longer rely on having one genre specialism.

The Multi-Genre Singing Teacher: What tools do we need? is an  interactive BVA training day led by two of the UK’s leading multi-disciplinary voice educators (and BVA members), Dr Gillyanne Kayes and Jeremy Fisher. Together with cross-genre specialists, Lucinda Allen and Jo Walling they offer practical insights into applying your existing musical skills and knowledge of voice to work creatively with students singing different music genres and styles.
