World Voice Day 2022

The British Voice Association's contribution to World Voice Day 2022

World Voice Day is on April 16th and the British Voice Association has added further to its collection of information leaflets in honour of the occasion. The title of the 2022 leaflet is 'Lift Your Voice Without Hurting It'. This leaflet offers advice to broadcasters, voice actors, voice-over artists, and communicators of all kinds, on how to take care of their voice, build stamina, deliver optimum performance, and find suitable professional advice and support if needed.
This leaflet was circulated to our membership and is available for the public to download from our 'Free resources' page.

In this special World Voice Day podcast episode we're chatting about all things voice. We share which exercises from our book This Is A Voice people love, and how we practise our own vocal exercises.
We'll take you step-by-step through one podcast listener's favourite exercise - Toothbrush Talk - so you can hear how to do it, and what effect can have on your voice.
And we give you a sneak peek into our brainstorming walks in the hills, and how to ace the "brain dump" in a singing lesson - it'll make your lessons a whole lot better.
